HoYoverse plans to release Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6, titled Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise, on September 28, 2026. The update adds Pearl as a new 5-star character alongside two outfits and a set of limited events.
Pearl supports Elation teams
Pearl is an Ice Elation character designed for sustain and team support. Her skill heals the full party according to her DEF, while her kit also provides damage mitigation and bonuses intended for teams built around Elation characters.
Her Ultimate applies Deep Learning to an ally and designates that unit as the Aesthetic Archetype. Depending on whether the party contains one, two, or at least three Elation characters, Pearl advances that character's team action by 10%, 15%, or 30%. During Deep Learning, her Basic Attack changes to Brushstroke: Render the Great Wave and restores allied HP based on her DEF.
A shorter banner schedule
Version 4.6 is scheduled to run for 42 days, split into two 21-day phases. The source mentions 5-star reruns in both phases but does not identify the returning characters, leaving the banner lineup incomplete.
Outfits use different currencies
Evanescia and Hyacine will each receive a new outfit after the update goes live. The Evanescia outfit will be sold through the in-game shop for Stellar Jade, while the source says obtaining Hyacine's outfit will require real money. It does not provide either outfit's price.
Four events and login rewards
The update's events include a seven-day Gift of Odyssey login campaign offering 10 Special Star Rail Passes. Wishpower UP! Down with Voracity revolves around defeating enemies affected by Voracity, while Love, Ghost, and Robots involves helping a friend complete an assessment. Interstellar Peace Gala: One Take is described only as a combat event.
The report also lists Stellar Jade and in-game materials among the event rewards. Players who primarily want Pearl should note that the source provides her combat role and mechanics but does not state her banner dates within the two-phase schedule.
