AOC launched the AGON AG277QSD gaming monitor in China on September 20, 2026. The 26.5-inch display combines a 2560×1440 resolution with a 320Hz refresh rate and uses Samsung Display's five-layer QD-OLED Penta Tandem panel technology. It is priced at 3,160 yuan, approximately $472, with no confirmed international release or pricing.

Five-Layer QD-OLED Panel

The Penta Tandem panel stacks five organic light-emitting layers instead of four. AOC is targeting competitive gaming with its high refresh rate and a claimed 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time. Variable refresh rate and MBR Sync motion-blur reduction are included, alongside the company's DarkShield screen coating.

Factory-Calibrated HDR Claims

AOC describes the AG277QSD as the first OLED gaming monitor with factory-calibrated HDR. The company claims an average Delta E below 2 in DisplayHDR mode, including brightness error, and below 1 in DCI-P3 mode. It also specifies 99% DCI-P3 coverage and peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits.

The monitor carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, but the reported color accuracy, response time and maximum brightness remain manufacturer claims rather than results from independent testing.

Competitive Modes and Ports

Players who prefer a smaller tournament-style view can reduce the active display area from 26.5 inches to a 24.5-inch window using a dedicated control. The mode accommodates older competitive-game formats, including 1280×960 at 4:3 and 1280×1024 at 5:4.

Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 connection and a USB hub. For buyers outside China, the main limitation is availability: AOC has not said whether the AGON AG277QSD will reach other markets or what it would cost there.
