Hardware design platform Flow Engineering Inc. has raised $50 million in a Series B funding round, bringing its valuation to $750 million. The round was co-led by Valor Equity Partners founder Antonio Gracias and Atreides Management Managing Partner Gavin Baker, with participation from Sequoia Capital, Human Capital, Evantic, SV Angel, Odyssey, and EQT.
Automating Systems Design and Verification
Flow Engineering provides an agentic artificial intelligence platform designed to shorten complex hardware development lifecycles. The system deploys AI agents that operate across computer-aided design (CAD) software, Git repositories, simulation environments, and documentation platforms to conduct impact analysis, detect requirement failures, and flag design conflicts. According to the company, these automated tools allow hardware teams to accelerate validation and verification processes from months down to days.
Customer Growth and Enterprise Adoption
Since completing its Series A round in October 2025, Flow has expanded its user base among industrial, automotive, and aerospace companies. Customers utilizing the platform include Rivian Automotive Inc., GM Performance Power Units LLC, Volkswagen AG’s joint venture RV Tech, Anduril Industries Inc., Stoke Space Technologies Inc., Intuitive Machines Inc., Pacific Fusion Corp., Joby Aviation Inc., Astranis Space Technologies Corp., and Radiant Industries Inc. Rivian reports that the platform enables collaborative systems engineering to accelerate product development.
Expansion and Regulatory Certification Goals
Flow plans to allocate the newly raised capital toward expanding its engineering personnel across AI and systems design disciplines. The company also intends to pursue FedRAMP authorization alongside other compliance certifications to serve enterprise clients in highly regulated sectors while ensuring secure handling of proprietary design data.
