Enterprise automation provider Automation Anywhere Inc. announced an agreement to acquire conversational voice artificial intelligence company Boost.ai Inc. from Nordic Capital. The acquisition expands Automation Anywhere's reach into customer-facing voice and text interactions, connecting front-office operations directly with middle and back-office enterprise workflows.
Connecting Customer Channels to Operations
Boost.ai develops conversational voice AI designed to capture user requests and guide tasks through internal execution software. Automation Anywhere plans to use the technology to advance its target of helping organizations handle up to 80 percent of business tasks autonomously or through AI assistance. Chief Executive Mihir Shukla highlighted that combining the platforms aims to unify customer engagement, internal employee support, and administrative operational workflows.
Focus on Regulated Sectors and Compliance
Boost.ai brings an established client presence in Europe and regulated sectors such as financial services, telecommunications, and insurance. The platform supports over 36 languages and maintains compliance standards including Europe's General Data Protection Regulation and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Boost.ai reports more than 650 deployments, roughly 600 live AI agents, and over 150 million automated customer interactions, serving clients including Nordea Bank Adp, DNB Bank ASA, Credit Union of Colorado, and Trading 212.
Expansion Across the Automation Ecosystem
The transaction follows Automation Anywhere’s acquisition of Aisera Inc. in late 2025, which integrated agentic artificial intelligence into its process orchestration architecture. The combined suite covers automated voice and chat channels, employee service automation across IT, finance, and human resources, and back-office enterprise resource planning operations. According to market data from Astute Analytica, the voice AI agent market was estimated at $3 billion in 2025 and is projected to expand to $45.1 billion by 2035, led by customer service applications.
