Allstacks Launches Code Engine to Give Product Managers Codebase Intelligence

Allstacks has announced Allstacks Code Engine (ACE), a new feature within its Product Studio platform aimed at helping product managers evaluate how software repositories operate without relying solely on manual engineering reviews.

Translating Product Specs into Code Reality

According to Allstacks, product managers often lack deep visibility into their application's codebase, which can create friction when estimating project effort, scoping dependencies, or planning feature rollouts. ACE addresses this gap by indexing connected code repositories to provide direct answers regarding technical feasibility and system logic.

The system allows product teams to compare specifications against actual repository code, identify duplicate implementation efforts, and spot existing architectural patterns before assigning tasks to developers or automated agents. It also checks completed features against initial requirements to detect intent drift before deployment.

Security Architecture and System Limitations

ACE operates in a read-only capacity and updates its understanding of the codebase on every code push. Allstacks stated that the engine does not execute background processes or cross client security boundaries.

The company noted that indexed repository data remains governed by its standard security controls, and third-party AI model providers used by the system do not use client code for model training.
