Snapdeal parent company AceVector is making its stock market debut following a subscription of 4.93 times for its 420 crore rupees initial public offering. The issue, which opened on September 25 and closed on September 29, combined a fresh issue of 287 crore rupees with a 133 crore rupees offer for sale, priced in the 30 to 32 rupees per share band. The market listing marks a distinct transition for the former ecommerce frontrunner, which reached a peak valuation of 6.5 billion dollars with backing from SoftBank, Alibaba, and Foxconn before shifting its strategic focus to value commerce across Tier II and Tier III Indian markets.

Portfolio Performance and Revenue Splits

AceVector operates three main business divisions: the core Snapdeal asset-light marketplace, ecommerce enablement software provider Unicommerce, and consumer-brands unit Stellaro Brands. In fiscal year 2026, Snapdeal generated marketplace revenue of 293.7 crore rupees on a net merchandise value of 1,093.1 crore rupees, up 25.7 percent from 869.6 crore rupees in FY25. Unicommerce expanded SaaS revenue by 51.6 percent to 204.3 crore rupees in FY26, supported by its acquisition of logistics platform Shipway, while Stellaro Brands contributed 12.8 crore rupees in FY26 revenue.

Comparative Disparity in Market Scale

Snapdeal relies on seller fees, advertising, and logistics charges rather than direct inventory holding, but its operational expenses have increased, with marketing spending rising to 84.4 crore rupees in FY26. Furthermore, platform metrics reveal a broad scale gap when contrasted with value-commerce competitors such as Meesho. During FY26, Snapdeal recorded 12.16 million transacting users and delivered 25.98 million units, while Meesho reported 264.29 million transacting users and 1.71 billion delivered units on a net merchandise value of 41,560 crore rupees.

AI Integration and Discovery Metrics

To support product discovery across low-priced fashion, home, and beauty listings, Snapdeal deployed an artificial intelligence suite featuring visual search, conversational discovery, and automated customer service across voice and messaging channels. According to the company's red herring prospectus, personalized recommendation feeds based on user browsing history accounted for 72.69 percent of orders placed in FY26 where customers did not enter a search term. However, because standard ecommerce platforms increasingly adopt similar technology stacks, achieving marketplace scale remains the main operational hurdle for the entity.
