Microsoft’s latest Xbox release roundup schedules a broad set of games for September 28 through October 2 across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC and Game Pass. The listed dates are subject to change.
Major releases
Minecraft Dungeons II is listed for September 28 with Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere support. The action adventure sends players through new lands and locations while they fight hostile mobs and a threat affecting two worlds.
Gears of War: E-Day Premium Edition follows on October 1. Set 14 years before the original Gears of War, it covers Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago during the Locust Horde’s first emergence. The listing also highlights a campaign, the Horde Siege PvE mode and Versus PvP, with the game built in Unreal Engine 5.
Remasters and strategy
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered is scheduled for September 29 as a free upgrade for existing owners. Xbox says the edition updates visuals, gameplay and character progression while including the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions.
Other scheduled releases include Gothic II Complete Classic, Way of the Hunter 2 and Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered. The latter combines Dynasty Warriors 3 and Xtreme Legends, with more than 40 officers and battlefields recreated using Unreal Engine 5. Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts adds ship design and naval combat spanning technology eras from 1890 to 1950 for 10 nations.
More games in the lineup
Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve is listed for October 2, while early access begins September 28 for buyers of its Deluxe Edition. The schedule also includes Transport Fever 3, a network-building management game covering land, sea and air transport, and NEIGHBORS: Suburban Warfare, a multiplayer brawler built around destructive disputes between neighboring players.
Smaller-scale releases round out the list, including Blades & Battles with local co-op, Lost in Loss with hidden-object investigation, Sneak Cheese with cat-avoidance puzzles, and Storebound, a six-episode co-op puzzle-horror campaign described as lasting five to seven hours. The roundup also names MXGP 26 – The Official Game, Chronicles of Albian: The Magic Convention and several other games scheduled during the same week.
Availability caveat
The announcement does not provide a complete platform or pricing breakdown for every title. Xbox Play Anywhere and Game Pass availability are specified only for the games where they are named, so readers should check each game’s profile for the remaining details.
