Watcher of Realms has added the Grey Blades faction, the weekly Fallen Covenant Guild Boss and a Golden Immortal Aspect for Sun Wukong. The main tactical change is Fallen Covenant's requirement for two fully separate teams, forcing guild members to spread heroes, gear and Artifacts across simultaneous encounters rather than concentrating their strongest resources in one formation.
Two Teams, No Shared Resources
Fallen Covenant becomes available after a Guild has opened Drake's Chasm – Abyss I. Players must prepare both teams before entering: one fights the main boss at the Ritual Altar, while the other travels to the Realm of Sorrow to confront Ramiel and Roderic when the boss splits into two monsters.
Heroes, gear and Artifacts cannot be shared between the formations. That restriction makes roster depth a central concern, particularly for players accustomed to building around a small group of heavily equipped characters. Progress also depends on participation from the wider Guild rather than a single player's attempt.
Specialized Damage Roles
The airborne Fallen Covenant favors Anti-Air DPS heroes, supported by Defenders and Healers. Each location also has a different offensive requirement: the Ritual Altar favors Platform Single-Target DPS, while the paired enemies in the Realm of Sorrow call for Dual-Target DPS. Players therefore need two balanced lineups with distinct damage profiles as well as separate equipment.
Grey Blades Coordinate Attacks
The new Grey Blades faction centers on Sync attacks. Some members can trigger a Sync regardless of distance, allowing multiple Grey Blades to make additional attacks against the same target. The source does not establish how the faction compares with existing options, so its competitive standing remains unclear at this early stage.
Sun Wukong Gains Splash Damage
Sun Wukong's new Golden Immortal Aspect adds Splash DMG to Golden Cudgel Strike, extending the attack to enemies around its primary target. The Aspect is obtainable through the Great Sage Saga Event Shop. Together with the dual-team boss and coordinated Grey Blades mechanics, it gives players additional reasons to reconsider how they distribute damage roles across their rosters.
