France-based AI consumer research startup Verso has raised $6 million in a seed funding round led by Angular Ventures. The investment is intended to accelerate international expansion and broaden the platform's core technical capabilities.

Automating the Research Pipeline

Founded by Lydia Bellahouel and Camille Epitalon, Verso offers an AI-powered consumer intelligence platform designed to internalize market research operations within companies. Rather than relying on external agencies or manual processes, the platform automates the research lifecycle from initial study design and participant recruitment through to AI-moderated video interviews and structured output analysis.

Expansion into International Markets

Verso plans to use the newly acquired capital to scale its operations outside of France, with a particular emphasis on entering the US market. The funds will also support product development initiatives, such as building integrations for additional consumer data sources and expanding system accessibility for autonomous AI agents.

Backers and Organizational Growth

Alongside lead investor Angular Ventures, the funding round included participation from 100in, Kima Ventures, Olympe Capital, Sharpstone Capital, and a group of individual business angels. Verso is also supported by the startup studio Hexa. To support its product roadmap and global launch, the company intends to expand its internal workforce across engineering and go-to-market positions.
