TODAY has secured €2.8 million in a seed funding round aimed at scaling its artificial intelligence platform built specifically for financial and insurance advisors. The startup focuses on reducing administrative work for advisors and agents operating within banks, insurance enterprises, and independent brokerages.
Investment Support and Regional Expansion
The financing round was co-led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and Insurtech Gateway. Additional backing came from Seed X, Lucid Capital, and angel investors including former HDI chief executive Herbert Rogenhofer and Tech11 founder Pierre Dubosq. TODAY plans to deploy the capital to expand its market presence across the DACH region while extending its platform to cover broader front-office and back-office operations.
Automated Workflows for Advisory Teams
Founded in 2024 by Michael Gackstatter and Artem Demchenkov, TODAY provides a dedicated sales operating system driven by AI agents. The software assists advisors throughout the entire client interaction cycle, executing tasks before, during, and after client consultation meetings. Key capabilities include transcribing client sessions, completing routine administrative processes, managing incoming telephone calls, and providing real-time sales coaching.
User Adoption and Operational Claims
More than 3,500 advisors across the DACH market currently use TODAY's software, including representatives at major insurance organizations, financial distribution networks, and independent brokerages. According to figures provided by TODAY, advisors using the platform save an average of five hours per week on administrative chores, capture roughly 50 times more actionable insights from client conversations, and can increase overall revenue by up to 10 percent.
