Threat intelligence startup Osavul has finalized an €8.5 million Series A investment round, boosting its overall raised capital to approximately €12 million. Led by venture capital firm 33N Ventures, the strategic financing round included key contributions from Balnord, G+D Ventures, and existing backer 42CAP, marking a major milestone for the security company as it accelerates its international market reach.

Defense-Tested AI Threat Detection

Co-founded by Ukrainian entrepreneurs Dmytro Plieshakov and Dmytro Bilash, Osavul engineered its specialized software platform as a direct answer to the geopolitical and information warfare challenges following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Operating out of Luxembourg, the company deploys specialized artificial intelligence models to systematically collect and process vast streams of open-source and online data within real-world, high-stress environments.

The analytical engine inspects publicly accessible and commercial datasets to discover covert disinformation networks, hostile influence operations, and digital vulnerabilities prior to the onset of physical or cyber incidents. Today, national governments, public safety organizations, and NATO alliance partners rely on Osavul’s platform to conduct comprehensive, multi-language threat monitoring across diverse international regions.

Enterprise Expansion and Critical Infrastructure Protection

Osavul will allocate the newly acquired Series A funds to expand its commercial footprint, bringing its defense-grade analytics to private sector enterprises while maintaining active support for state entities. The leadership team recognizes that modern corporate networks are increasingly targeted by the same sophisticated, multi-domain attack strategies that historically targeted state institutions.

In particular, the business is focusing on enterprise sectors that manage critical national infrastructure, including energy providers, transit hubs, maritime ports, commercial airports, and financial institutions. By extending its threat intelligence capabilities to these corporate environments, Osavul aims to safeguard essential services against hybrid threats, narrative manipulation, and coordinated cyber disruption.
