Sanrio has announced Sanrio Kawaii Me Live!, a mobile rhythm game headed to Android and iOS in January 2027. Global pre-registration is now open, while an App Store listing suggests January 14 as the release date.

Two ways to play

The game combines rhythm challenges with staged performances featuring Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters. Performance mode puts the characters at the center of the show, while Technical mode is designed around a more conventional rhythm-game format.

Custom stages and music

Players can customize live outfits, stage decorations and visual effects, then collect items during play. The music includes songs associated with Sanrio characters and events, including KAWAII FESTIVAL from the Sanrio Puroland parade and Pompompurin and Muffin’s Pompom Beat☆.

Release details

Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! is described as the first mobile game under the Sanrio Games brand. The report says it follows the title’s July 2026 reveal and a closed beta test held in Japan that month. Sanrio has also announced original-song collaborations with Universal Music artists including Soala, SHE’S, Lienel, Polkadot Stingray, Yabai T-Shirts Yasan and Mi’Line Hearts, alongside new collaborations with ZUTOMAYO.

Pre-registration rewards are tied to registration milestones, ranging from in-game items and gacha tickets to a Hello Kitty-themed Mira Wear reward at 1,000,000 registrations.
