Developer Remedy has revealed upcoming post-launch updates for Control Resonant, introducing an infinitely repeatable end-game progression system and a dedicated photo mode. Following the title's launch on September 24, 2026, the studio outlined plans to expand player options over the autumn season.

Endless Campaign Replayability

At present, Control Resonant features a single-use New Game+ option that requires players to wipe their save file if they wish to start over after completing a second playthrough. The upcoming New Game++ mode changes this structure by allowing users to complete consecutive runs indefinitely while retaining their character progression and collected inventory.

This infinite replay functionality is scheduled for release sometime in October 2026, though Remedy has not yet specified an exact launch date within the month.

Virtual Photography Arrives in November

In addition to the campaign changes, Remedy confirmed that a photo mode will arrive in a subsequent update planned for November 2026. The feature was omitted from the initial release to prioritize core game stability, though development on the tool involved input from virtual photographers.

These two features mark the first officially announced post-launch additions for Control Resonant, with additional content plans expected to be detailed later.
