Pipedrive announced the general availability of Nova on September 16, 2026, introducing an AI assistant that prepares sales representatives for calls, records meetings and proposes updates to customer relationship management records. Users must review, edit and approve proposed changes before Nova writes them to the CRM.

From Preparation to Follow-Up

Before a call, Nova draws on information already held in Pipedrive, including deal history, emails and previous conversations, to provide contextual briefings. During meetings, it can record the discussion; afterward, it produces a transcript, identifies follow-up work and suggests changes to fields such as deal stage, value and expected closing date.

Human Approval Remains Required

Pipedrive is positioning Nova as an administrative aid rather than a system that independently changes sales records. Every suggested update remains subject to user approval, addressing concerns raised in the company's own report, “The Hidden Cost of Selling.” In that survey, only 23% of respondents said they were comfortable with AI completing tasks without their review.

The same company report found that 71% of professionals spent at least 10 minutes preparing for each customer call by checking prior interactions. About 47% said follow-ups or record updates frequently took as long as a day to complete. These are Pipedrive's reported survey findings, not independent measurements of Nova's performance.

Pilot Claims and Reach

Australian real estate technology company Snug Technology Ptd. Ltd. piloted Nova before general availability. Pipedrive reported that more than 73,000 property managers now use the tool in work supporting over 1.5 million renters. Snug's chief executive claimed Nova saves between 30 minutes and one hour per deal meeting and effectively triples the size and effectiveness of its sales team; the source provides no independent test of those claims.

Desktop and Meeting Support

Nova is available through a desktop recording app and as a meeting notetaker for Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Pipedrive said IT administrators can manage user access, while participant consent and notification settings remain under user control. The report does not specify pricing, plan requirements, regional restrictions or detailed data-retention terms.
