Oppo has launched its F35 series smartphones in India, introducing the F35 Pro alongside a base F35 model. Hands-on testing of the Pro variant shows a device structured around long battery endurance and extreme liquid and dust resistance, offset by mid-range material choices and software refresh rate limits.
Chipset Performance and Power Configuration
The Oppo F35 Pro is driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max processor, while the standard F35 uses a Dimensity 6360 Max. This upgraded silicon allows the Pro model to record video in 4K resolution, whereas the standard F35 is capped at 2.5K. Both variants ship with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage in their entry-level configurations. Each phone includes an 8,000 mAh battery equipped with 80W fast wired charging support.
Display Specifications and Usability
The F35 Pro features a 6.78-inch OLED panel capable of a 144Hz refresh rate. However, according to GSMArena, the 144Hz mode operates exclusively within supported games rather than across the system user interface. The physical size of the display limits single-handed usability, which is further affected by an under-display fingerprint scanner positioned low near the bottom edge of the frame.
Camera System, Ingress Protection, and Finishes
Both handsets include a 50MP primary rear camera and a 50MP front camera, but only the Pro model includes a secondary 8MP ultrawide rear lens. Despite using a plastic rear panel, the Pro model carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ingress protection ratings for resistance against dust and high-pressure liquid ingress. Oppo offers the F35 Pro in Sunrise Orange, Twilight Brown, and Wave Blue. The Sunrise Orange version includes a textured wave design with a smudge-resistant matte finish and ships with a matching protective case.
