Industrial AI startup Noetive formally launched on September 16, 2026, with $41 million in seed funding. The company is developing software that learns how factories and freight operations function, then coordinates decisions across their existing systems. Eclipse Ventures led the round, which will fund research and team expansion.
AI for physical operations
Noetive is targeting operational environments where materials, equipment, workers and suppliers change continuously. Its agents sit above a customer's existing tools and use a self-improving model to address planning and coordination tasks. The company also designs a multimodal sensing pod that feeds physical conditions into the system.
Early factory deployment
The software is being field-tested by a selected group of design partners across manufacturing, logistics, energy and data centers. Noetive identified food and beverage manufacturer Steuben Foods as one early partner. Steuben's chief executive said its production-planning cycle had shifted from a week-long monthly process to one completed in minutes each day after the system began using business data and factory-floor conditions. That performance account comes from the customer rather than an independent test.
Built inside Eclipse
Noetive emerged from Eclipse after the venture firm hired Amir Frenkel from Meta as its first chief AI officer, according to an earlier Bloomberg report cited by SiliconANGLE. Frenkel, now Noetive's chief executive, previously held leadership positions at Meta, Alphabet and Amazon. Eclipse also helped recruit the founding team.
Funding and scope
Craft Ventures Management, The Westly Group, Swish Ventures, Factory, Incite Ventures, Gigascale Capital, Operator Partners and Liquid 2 Ventures also participated in the seed round, alongside several individual technology executives and founders. Noetive says the capital will support research into self-improving AI for physical operations and hiring for AI research and full-stack engineering roles. The source does not specify broader availability, pricing or the number of current deployments.
