Headup GmbH and ClockStone have released a major update for Bridge Constructor+ on iOS, introducing an all-new 1v1 competitive multiplayer mode. The update brings a head-to-head structural challenge to the long-running physics puzzle title, allowing players to test their engineering efficiency directly against opponents.

Budget-Driven Head-to-Head Duels

The new multiplayer feature matches two players in real-time challenges where the primary goal is structural cost efficiency. Players must build a bridge that successfully transports vehicles across obstacles such as canals, deep valleys, and rivers while minimizing total construction expenditure.

Matches operate on a fixed timer. Victory is determined at the end of the round based on which player completes the vehicle passage using the smaller budget. Visual aesthetics are irrelevant, meaning unconventional or unseemly designs are fully valid as long as the structure withstands the vehicle weight test. Players can choose between casual matches for unranked play and ranked games to test their skills competitively.

Expanded Content and Core Mechanics

Bridge Constructor+ tasks players with managing bridge stress across various vehicle types, ranging from standard passenger cars to heavy tank trucks. The game features stress testing powered by color-coded load indicators to highlight dynamic structural forces, alongside a dedicated tutorial system and a free-build mode.

With the latest update, the overall package includes more than 110 levels across its base maps and integrated expansion content, such as the SlopeMania and Trains DLC worlds. The update is available on iOS.
