Five startups announced financing totaling $120 million across floating nuclear power, construction procurement, property-maintenance robots, physical AI testing and farm recordkeeping. The total includes BRKZ’s $18 million growth-debt commitment alongside equity rounds ranging from $5 million to $50 million.

Bluecore Plans Nuclear Power at Sea

Bluecore Energy raised a $50 million seed round led by Silverton Partners, two months after emerging from stealth with $10 million in pre-seed funding. The Long Beach startup is developing compact, water-cooled small modular reactors intended to operate on floating barges, with the Port of Long Beach as its first target and AI data centers among its potential customers.

The company says it is working with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Coast Guard while pursuing certification. Its proposed reactors therefore remain subject to regulatory approval rather than representing an operating deployment.

BRKZ Adds Equity and Debt

Saudi construction marketplace BRKZ secured $31 million in new capital: a $13 million Series B equity round co-led by Wa’ed Ventures and 500 Global, plus an $18 million growth-debt commitment from Stride Ventures under an earlier facility. Crunchbase reports that BRKZ has raised more than $83 million overall.

BRKZ says its pricing engine uses about 38 million structured data points and was trained on roughly 40,000 quote requests. According to the company, 84% to 89% of predicted prices fall within 5% of the final transaction price, while another system processes delivery-note photos and verifies about three-quarters of deliveries without human intervention.

Robotics Draws Two Rounds

Viabot raised a $24 million Series A led by Walden International to expand its autonomous outdoor-maintenance fleet. Its robots use interchangeable attachments for sweeping, debris removal and landscaping while also conducting limited security patrols at commercial properties.

Three-month-old Robocurve raised a $10 million seed round led by Initialized Capital. The Public Benefit Corporation plans to evaluate how frontier AI models control physical robots and publish the results independently. It also supplies hardware and funding to academic teams developing open-source benchmarks; the company says more than 200 institutions have joined its program.

Tellia Targets Field Recordkeeping

Tellia raised a $5 million pre-seed round led by Revent for a voice-first AI service aimed at farmers, agronomists and other agricultural workers. Users can submit voice notes, WhatsApp messages or photos, which the system converts into records linked to fields, crops and crews. The San Francisco- and Paris-based company says the technology is deployed across 1 million acres in the U.S. and Europe.
