Ascerta Inc. has raised $18 million in a Series A funding round led by Dell Technologies Capital to help enterprises evaluate the actual financial returns of their artificial intelligence deployments. The investment round included participation from Hitachi Ventures, BGV, and Wipro Ventures, bringing the startup's total funding to $22.9 million.
Measuring Enterprise AI Outcomes
Ascerta provides a unified platform designed to track AI usage across organizations, monitoring how individual users, teams, and applications deploy AI models. Rather than relying on usage metrics like token consumption or agent execution counts, the system aims to calculate real revenue impact, savings, and operational cost efficiency. The platform integrates with enterprise AI environments, including Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude, Amazon Bedrock, and Salesforce Agentforce.
Core Platform Components
The startup's technology architecture consists of three core components focused on different operational areas. Atlas tracks overall AI adoption metrics alongside return on investment. Forge focuses specifically on software engineering teams, evaluating how coding agents influence developer productivity. Convoy monitors underlying compute consumption, offering recommendations to consolidate workloads and minimize unused capacity without impacting existing operations.
Customer Adoption and Metrics
According to company claims, early customers including Atos SE and Wipro Ltd. saw an average return on investment increase of 47% while deploying the technology. The startup reports that customers achieved an 86% reduction in wasted AI resource spending and decreased AI agent deployment times by 24%.
