Apple has released version 7.0 of Apple Music for Android to registered beta testers, introducing a significant visual overhaul aimed at closing the design gap with its native iOS counterpart. The update delivers modern UI elements, streamlined artist pages, and improved control over music libraries and playlists.

Redesigned Navigation and Artist Pages

The most prominent visual change in Apple Music 7.0 is a rounded, floating navigation bar that incorporates translucent Liquid Glass styling, mirroring the aesthetic found on iOS. According to reports shared by user Sumanta Das on X and confirmed by Android Authority, the interface prioritizes artist visuals and cleaner navigation structure.

Artist pages have received a complete design refresh featuring full-page artwork and artist-curated highlights. Apple has also relocated artist biography access: users can now open the "About" section by tapping an info icon next to the play button, eliminating the need to scroll to the bottom of the artist page.

Library Management and Availability

Beyond visual changes, app code strings for version 7.0 highlight a functional update to library management. Android users can now remove a song from their personal Library without automatically deleting it from their custom Playlists, offering finer control over media organization.

The redesigned interface is currently limited to Android users enrolled in the Apple Music beta program. Users on the stable release branch will continue to see the older interface until Apple expands the rollout to the general public.
