Munich-based HR technology startup Ahron has successfully raised €2.2 million in a seed funding round led by Cusp Capital. The investment round also featured significant financial contributions from strategic business angels across the human resources sector, including Sabine Kohleisen, former Board Member for HR at Mercedes-Benz Group, alongside several prominent superangels supporting the team's growth vision.
Overlaying Existing Infrastructure
Founded in late 2025 by co-founders Carl Hoffmann and Rado Pavlov, Ahron develops an intelligent AI agent-based platform designed to automate workflows across complex enterprise software environments. Rather than replacing legacy applications or deploying yet another standalone HR management application, Ahron operates directly as an orchestration and integration layer over an organization's existing software stack. The company specifically targets the architectural fragmentation common in large enterprise environments, where dozens or hundreds of distinct HR tools often lack native interconnectivity.
To establish comprehensive operational context across these disconnected systems, Ahron collaborates with process mining specialist Celonis. The platform directly integrates Celonis's Process Intelligence technology to generate an accurate digital twin of existing enterprise HR workflows using raw source system data. This integration allows Ahron's AI agents to identify workflow automation opportunities and reliably execute multi-system processes, such as automated hiring manager feedback collection, thorough payroll auditing, and seamless employee onboarding sequences.
Central Governance and Business Traction
To address data privacy, security, and operational compliance risks inherent to deploying autonomous AI agents within human resources, Ahron is constructing a central control layer. This governance module enables enterprise IT administrators to easily establish, monitor, and enforce centralized guardrails and policy rules governing exactly how AI agents interact across diverse corporate administrative workflows.
Ahron reports that it has already surpassed €1 million in annual recurring revenue since early 2026, acquiring major enterprise customers across both Europe and the United States. The young startup plans to allocate its newly secured €2.2 million in capital toward international market expansion and the further technical development of its central governance framework and contextual execution layer.
