Acemagic has launched the F9A, a compact workstation mini PC built around the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495 platform. The system starts at $6,499 with 192 GB of memory and a 2 TB SSD, putting workstation-class memory capacity into a chassis measuring 158.5 x 158.5 x 81.5 mm.

High memory in a small chassis

The F9A uses unified LPDDR5X-8355 memory, with up to 192 GB available to the system. Acemagic says users can allocate as much as 160 GB to graphics memory, while the integrated Radeon 8065S provides the graphics and AI processing in the two-liter enclosure. The company lists 131 TOPS of AI compute for the platform.

Desktop-class connectivity

The front panel includes two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, USB4, an SD card reader and a combined 3.5 mm audio jack. Rear connectivity adds a second USB4 port, DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, dual 2.5 GbE, USB 2.0, another USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and an OCuLink connection for an external GPU.

Upgrade and expansion limits

Storage includes a 2 TB SSD and a second internal PCIe 4.0 NVMe slot that supports RAID 0 and RAID 1, according to the source. Wireless connectivity consists of Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Acemagic says the cooling system uses five copper heatpipes. The OCuLink port offers a route to more graphics power if the integrated Radeon 8065S is insufficient.
