Qloud Games plans to release Loftia in Steam Early Access for PC on November 3, 2026, priced at $29.99. The multiplayer life simulation game combines farming, crafting and home decoration across a shared world of floating islands. A Nintendo Switch 2 release is also planned, but the developer has not provided a date for that version.
A Shared Life in the Sky
Loftia is built around cooperative play rather than a solitary farming routine. Players can establish living spaces on their islands, grow crops using different farming systems, make items and explore with friends. The setting uses a solarpunk aesthetic centered on communities living alongside nature.
Animal companions will include dogs, cats, capybaras and turtles. The range of building and farming systems is intended to give players flexibility in how they arrange their homes and spend time in the shared world.
Expeditions Expand the Loop
Outside the everyday life-simulation activities, players can join expeditions with puzzle-platforming elements. These trips provide resources and additional crafting recipes while revealing information about the setting's old world and its history. That structure gives groups a more directed activity alongside farming, decorating and social play.
Early Access Is a Material Caveat
The November 3 release is an Early Access launch rather than a finished edition. Qloud Games says it intends to improve existing systems and add features, stories, locations and cooperative activities during development. The source does not specify how long Early Access will last or define the scope of the launch-day content.
Loftia was first announced in 2023 and has since undergone closed and open beta testing. Players interested primarily in the later Nintendo Switch 2 edition will need to wait for further scheduling details, while the announced November release applies specifically to Steam on PC.
