Redis has announced an expansion of its strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services to improve how enterprises build, scale, and modernize real-time and AI-driven applications on AWS infrastructure.
Optimizing Infrastructure for Production AI
The expanded partnership centers on moving AI applications from initial testing into full production. Redis is deepening its focus on agentic app architectures, enabling developers to pair Redis Cloud with Amazon Bedrock to support vector search, semantic caching, agent memory, session management, and retrieval-augmented generation.
To streamline adoption, Redis and AWS plan to co-develop reference architectures, technical enablement programs, and solution patterns to help developer teams build faster AI applications while keeping data architecture simple.
Application Migration and Marketplace Integration
Beyond generative AI, the initiative target workloads requiring high performance, scalability, and immediate data access. Redis will provide migration paths, technical expertise, and architecture guidance for enterprises transitioning legacy workloads to AWS.
Procurement pathways are also involved in the agreement. Redis Cloud remains available via AWS Marketplace, supporting private offers and enterprise purchasing options to allow existing AWS customers to purchase and deploy managed Redis Cloud or self-managed Redis Enterprise Software directly through their AWS billing.
