France-based cybersecurity company Hackuity has raised $19 million to develop its vulnerability management platform and support international expansion. Forgepoint Capital International led the round, joined by existing investors Bright Pixel, Bpifrance and Seventure Partners. The financing takes Hackuity's total funding to $38 million.
Consolidating Security Findings
Hackuity develops a Vulnerability Operations Center for enterprises managing security weaknesses across their IT environments. The platform aggregates findings from more than 130 security tools, giving security teams a consolidated view instead of requiring them to work through separate streams of alerts.
Prioritizing Remediation
The system combines vulnerability data with threat intelligence, asset criticality and business context to determine which issues require attention. Hackuity says its proprietary risk-scoring engine continuously evaluates severity, exploitability, threat information, the importance of affected assets and potential business impact. The platform is also intended to coordinate remediation across security, IT and engineering teams.
Growing Vulnerability Volume
Hackuity links demand for this approach to the expanding number of disclosed security flaws and the ability of AI tools to identify them faster. According to the company, roughly 350,000 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures are now known, a 20 percent year-on-year increase. Those figures are company-supplied rather than presented as independent measurements in the report.
Europe and Asia Expansion
The new capital will fund further product development and expansion of Hackuity's AI capabilities. It will also support growth in Europe and Asia. Alongside direct enterprise deployments, the company works with systems integrators, resellers and managed security service providers to distribute and operate its vulnerability management technology.
